Introduction

The richest people in the world have a combined net worth of more than $5 trillion. Bernard Arnault has been ranked as the richest man alive by Forbes magazine since July 2018 to 2023, when he claimed the title after being passed over by Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and Microsoft founder Bill Gates.
