Heard has countersued her for $100 million and argued that Depp has tarnished her in a way by accusing her of lying. Both parties have finished their statements.

The lawyers for Johnny Depp have attempted to deny Amber Heard’s claims of abuse in the defamation trial, which began on Tuesday. by presenting a knife she had given as a present for Johnny Depp “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor and notes she left to him.
As the trial began on Tuesday, lawyer Camille Vasquez asked jurors to scrutinize the knife Heard purchased in exchange for Depp back in 2012. Heard was a witness who claimed that Depp had already been violent towards her at that at the time.
“This is the knife you gave to the man who would get drunk and violent toward you?” the lawyer inquired. “This is the knife I gave him as a present, yes,” she stated, noting she was not sure that he would be able to stab her with the knife.
Depp has admitted that he has never struck Heard and has claimed She was the one who abused him during their romance. He claimed that she hit him with a bottle of vodka in the early part of 2015, and cut off the tip of his middle finger on the right.
Heard that she didn’t cause the injury on her finger and that she struck him in defense of either her or her sibling.
